About This Wedding
Our couple, Sheemal and Raj raised the bar for intimate wedding celebrations and how. Based in Fiji and Australia with Indian roots our bride and groom left us speechless with their grand 7 nights wedding celebration in beautiful Bali. The couple hired Shanqh Luxury Events based in Delhi to plan their dream wedding in Bali while the couple was at their respective homes in Fiji and Australia. However, the barriers of distance didn’t hamper their wedding planning which was all happening over virtual meetings. It took almost 6 months in choosing locations and numerous events all under the golden vision of Shanqh Signature weddings who left no stone unturned to plan a picture perfect wedding for Sheemal and Raj.
Their wedding in Bali was one of a kind. The first amazing event was a day in Cruise with a pirates theme. It was the most exciting day followed by a mind blowing wedding celebration on the beach, bali amphitheatre and by the street market. We can’t stop admiring the menu and choice of meals during their grand celebration. Their mehandi ceremony had traditional indian food ; the reception had an international food menu whereas the cocktail party was all in oriental style. One of their showstopper pre wedding functions was a beach haldi which coincided with a fun-filled holi. Our couple had a royal sikh wedding in Conrad, Bali followed by a christain wedding at Sofitel, Nusa Dua. The 7 night event of the grand wedding celebration was full of music and dance. There were fire dancers, belly dancers , international bartenders, bollywood DJ, Bali music groups and what not!
Amidst the grand wedding events, our groom and bride stole the spotlight with ethereal wedding couture. For the mehndi day, Sheemal wore a lovely pastel lehenga with floral prints all over. She further completed her look with gorgeous floral jewellery. Not to miss her yellow shimmery lehenga with pretty maang tikka which she wore for the beachside Haldi. The event was all colourful with some gorgeous and fun-filled wedding photographs to reminisce it. For the royal Sikh wedding, the bride stunned in a green bridal lehenga with serene veil. Our groom looked like the king of the empire in a green turban coordinating with his better half. At her Christian wedding in Bali, Sheemal freezed the air in a dreamy white wedding gown. Raj gave major groom outfit goals in monochrome tuxedo and classy pocket square. Then came the most awaited boat party to celebrate their new beginnings. The cruise had the pirates theme where our bride made her showstopper entry in a silky grey gown and we are totally swooning over her gorgeous look.
We cannot ignore the fact that the exotic wedding of our bride and groom took place when the Coronavirus was at its initial stage. An extra effort was taken to ensure safety and hygiene of the wedding guests. Also, most of the guests were foreigners so the wedding fervour was not affected by lockdown dates of India. To cope with the crisis, there were backup teams and vendors beforehand. A commendable job was done by Shanqh Luxury Events to plan this wedding in Bali and we are loving every bit of it.
Beyond the WOW wedding themes, there were quirky wedding sign boards, opulent pre wedding photoshoots and attractive hashtags to add more to the glam. Indeed, Bali witnessed the lavish wedding of Sheemal and Raj!
