Heart-tugging Wedding of Shridha & Harsh in Sri Lanka
The Vibrant Mehndi
Set by the pool, #HarShridha’s wedding revelries kicked off by an afternoon Mehndi ceremony. Themed around blue and aqua colors, the decor was done in all white and pastel-hued blooms and amped up with blue and aqua colored roses and varied flowers. The decor was beautifully curated in blue & white drapes & table settings with matching centerpieces, a geometric patterned printed dance floor in hues of aqua & pink and colorful seating areas. The highlight of the mehndi ceremony was the mehndi seating for the couple done all in hues of blue & aqua with light-hued flowers decking up the photo wall behind. And of course, lots of dancing to the dhol & pool fun.
For the ceremony the couple coordinated their outfits in matching pastel hues of pale peach. While Shridha wore a pretty belted sharara set, Harsh donned a kurta pyjama teamed with a nehru jacket in a similar shade. Both their outfits were from Devika Seth Studio.
The Jazzy Cocktail & Sangeet Night
The couple and their loved ones danced their black and gold themed cocktail and sangeet night away with all the glitz and jazz. With a heavenly decor done in white blooms and heavy greens perfectly complementing the theme, the setting was a sight to behold. Adding the magical touch to it was the fairy light and paper lamps ceiling that gave the entire night a starry appeal. Shimmery cascading elements for a scintillating entryway, quirky white & green corners and huge centerpieces made up for some contemporary decor elements. A rustic wreath backdrop done in a white flowers & foliage was a great setting for the couple to exchange their rings which was followed by performances and dancing feet throughout the night.
For the night while Harsh wore a classic blue & black jodhpuri suit from Deepee’s Jodhpur, Shridha slipped into a midnight blue benarasi outfit with thread & sequined embroideries designed by Devika keeping up with Shridha’s desired glam look. She teamed up her attire with a gorgeous neckpiece that was a modern & contemporary take on the ever classic Navratna. Keeping her tresses open on one side and subtle but glam makeup, she looked resplendent.
Picture Perfect Wedding & Reception
With peachy drapes & heavy foliage and light hued blooms mandap by the beach, the decor for the wedding day was an all pastel affair. With a multiple arched all floral walkway, stunning floral centerpieces, pretty corner settings and the vast ocean, their day wedding was an absolute flamboyant one.
For the wedding, Harsh donned a beige & red floral sherwani and Shridha teamed an embroidered mint green dupatta for her red lehenga by Devika Seth that was laden with beautiful floral thread embroideries, zardosi work and 3D flowers. Oh, and let’s not forget that cutesy pink bow at the back of her blouse tho! (hearty eyes) Opting for the classic “focus on the eyes & lips” makeup and scintillating traditional jewellery in pearls, rubies and emeralds, Shridha’s wedding day look was perfectly on point!
The highlight of the wedding was Harsh’s grand baraat entry on an Elephant! Yes, no horse! Have a look!
